On October 21, 2023, the Ambari branch of Abhiyaan Institute of Vocational Training and Management actively participated in the Fulpati Shobha Yatra and Cultural Program organized by the Ambari Youth. During this event, the students of the institute showcased a compelling short act that depicted the hardships faced by tea garden workers, particularly women, who struggle to make ends meet with their meager wages while still taking care of their families. This act shed light on the challenges and resilience of these workers.
In recognition of the exceptional performances during the cultural program, Abhiyaan Institute generously awarded a cash prize of 3000 to the best group dance. The Muskaan Group Dance was the proud recipient of this prize. Their performance featured a traditional Gurung community dance set to the melodious Ngolsyo Ramrani song.
Apart from Muskaan Group Dance, the event featured various other cultural dance groups who showcased their talents and heritage. These performances included the Maruni dance and the Rai Community Dance, among others. These dances were a colorful representation of the diverse cultures and traditions that enrich the community.
Mr. Nirmal Chhetri, representing the Ambari branch of Abhiyaan Institute, had the honor of presenting the prize to the deserving Muskaan Group Dance. The event was not only a celebration of cultural diversity but also a platform for recognizing and appreciating the talent and hard work of the participants.
